The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus (English)

Cordis2.jpg

Tomorrow is the feast of the Sacred Heart. It is a Friday in which we commemorate Our Lord's great love for us - which was manifested most clearly to us in His Passion and Death on the Cross.

Note: There are two options for the communion antiphon. However, the psalm verses are the same for both options. Therefore, I have only recorded the psalm verses in the Simple English setting of the 1st option. The Simple English setting of the 2nd option does not have psalm verses recorded.

Entrance Antiphon:

The designs of His heart are from age to age, to rescue their souls from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

My heart has expected reproach and misery, and I looked for one who would grieve together with me, but there was none, and for one who would comfort me, and I found none.
