Corpus Christi (English)

A week ago, the Latin Church celebrated the Feast of Corpus Christi - the great feast in which we celebrate Christ's gift of Himself to us in the Holy Eucharist, the Most Blessed Sacrament of His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. In the Ordinary Form, in dioceses where this is not a Holy Day of Obligation, the celebration is transferred to the Sunday following.

A small note: I did not record a solemn setting of the Offertory Antiphon for this Mass. I hope to rectify this next year when we pass through the liturgical calendar again.

Entrance Antiphon:

He fed them with the finest wheat, alleluia; and satisfied them with honey from the rock, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
— Roman Missal (3rd edition); cf. Ps. 80:17

Simple English setting:

Solemn English setting:

Laud, O Sion, your salvation! Laud with hymns of exultation, Christ, your king and shepherd true!
— Roman Missal (3rd edition)

Note that optionally, you may begin the sequence with the verse that starts "Lo! the angel's food is given".

Offertory Antiphon:

The Lord opened the doors of heaven, and rained down manna upon them to eat; he gave them the bread of heaven; mere man ate the bread of angels, alleluia.
— Roman Missal (3rd edition); cf. Lv. 21:6

Simple English setting:

Communion Antiphon:

Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him, says the Lord, alleluia.
— Roman Missal (3rd edition); cf. Jn. 6:57

Simple English setting:

Solemn English setting:
