The Nativity of St. John the Baptist (English)

This past Sunday was the feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist - the day on which the last of the prophets was born. He is honored with the title of Forerunner of the Lord, because he prepared the way for the Great Prophet, the Promised Messiah Who is Christ the Lord.
