This Sunday is the 6th Sunday of Paschaltide - the last Sunday prior to the great feast of the Ascension of Our Lord. Therefore, on this Sunday the Church sings out a last glorious song of joy in celebration of the Lord's Resurrection.
Ant. Announce with a joyful voice, and let it be heard, alleluia; announce to the ends of the earth that the Lord has liberated His people, alleluia, alleluia!
V. Shout with joy to God, all the earth; sing a psalm to His name. Give glory to His praise.
V. Glory be...
Ant. Bless the Lord our God, you peoples, and make the voice of His praise heard: He Who has set my soul to live and has not suffered my feet to be moved. Blessed be the Lord Who has not turned away from my prayer, nor His mercy from me, alleluia.
Communion Antiphon (Cycle A):
Ant. I will not leave you orphans: I will come to you again, alleluia; and your heart shall rejoice, alleluia, alleluia.
Communion Antiphon (Cycle B):
Ant. I have chosen you from the world, that you might go and bear fruit, and your fruit shall remain. Alleluia.
Communion Antiphon (Cycle C):
Ant. The Holy Spirit shall teach you, alleluia: whatever I have said to you, alleluia, alleluia.
