Feast of the Holy Family (English)

In the Ordinary Form, we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family this Sunday (during the Octave of Christmas). On years when Christmas is on a Sunday, the feast of the Holy Family is celebrated on Friday, December 30. This feast was originally instituted by Pope Leo XIII in order to further the devotion of the faithful to the Holy Family as a model of family life.
